Events for 2009

Month of November

• November 19th at the VA hospital in Salisbury, North Carolina there will be a Native American honoring with Edwin George sharing his cultural art paintings and stories. Daniel Bigay and Kay LittleJohn will be sharing stories and Native American flute music while wearing authentic regalia. The program begins at noon.
  
  Edwin's art prints will be featured at the Presbyterian Church across from the VA Hospital starting November 12th, 2009.

Month of October

• Ohio's Wright State University's Asian/Hispanic/Native American Center Presents "Cherokee Culture through Art and Story" featuring the art of Edwin George. Event dates: October 21st - November 14th, 2008 at the Student Union Art Gallery. There will be an artists reception: Tuesday October 21, 2008 - time: 12:15 – 1:15 p.m. Edwin George and storyteller Dona Greene will share the rich Cherokee cultural background of 25 of Edwin's paintings during the reception.
